My bunny always has a wet chin?

I've noticed for a while my buns chin is always wet, and always feels slightly, matted? I'm not sure.

At first I thought it was adorable, but ive searched it up and it doesn't seem very good. Im already in the middle of trying to bring him to a vet to get answers, but that won't be for a couple weeks due to recent money issues unfortunately. But it will be done!! It's my top priority.

But for the meantime, I was wondering if it truly is a bad situation?

Some info: if I wipe it away and then touch his chin again, it's wet already. It's not from his water bowl because he could be away from it for a minute and I'll feel his chin and suddenly it's wet again.

He's not fixed because when I rescued him, it wasn't done and I was informed it'd be too risky due to his approximate age (older than 5, but not showing signs of being a senior bun). He does try to grab my hand and hump it sadly 🥲, and that's one of the times I find his chin gets the most wet.

It mainly happens when he's happy or excited. For example, I leave the room and come back a bit later and he circles me and head butts me and I feel his chin and it's wet.

I tried taking a picture of his chin but he wasn't very happy so I'm not sure it'll help much but I'll attach it anyways.

Also! His teeth seem to be fine, I've checked many times, and it doesn't really look like there's anything going on in his mouth, then again I could be wrong, I will get him checked out as soon as I can!
