Hey all! So we recently adopted our little baby boy Fellini, 10 months old, neutered, (sitting in his throne box admiring his kingdom). We have one more bun, Sushi (female, 4 years old, spayed), and we are trying to bond them.
We like for our buns to be free roaming around the house, but the biggest problem is that we are in a shared flat and we are hiding the rabbits from our land lady whenever she comes, so we have a “rabbit room” which is also or work room. Since we are in early bonding stages, Fellini (Felli) is living in the rabbit room and Sushi sleeps with us in our bedroom.
At some point, we would like for Sushi and Felli to share the space of the rabbit room and be comfortable being there, with the door open of course so they can have the freedom of being anywhere in the apartment if there is no land lady or flat mates around (we have a little bit of a bi-polar flat mate who likes the rabbits one day but doesn’t like them the next one, its baffling).
Any how, door open or closed, we would love for our buns to be comfortable in this room and to have all that they need. How can I make this room better and enjoyable for them? I also like the mats because when we are in the work room I usually sit on the floor to interact with Felli. He is still a young baby and we found him in the trash a couple of weeks ago, so he’s still adapting to his new life and kingdom.
Any advice would be so much appreciated!
