hi guys, this is my sweet bunny mako who is 8 years old
she has thymoma and is on long term prednisolone. it helped shrink the tumour for a bit, until recently when it got bigger and the steroids did not manage to help. she has signs of bulging eyes and eyelids, and fast breathing.
her appetite became worse and she is eating less and less. she only weighs 1kg. just today she started not being able to walk. her hind legs just couldn’t move. we brought her to the vet and they said it is probably not e cuniculi or a fracture, but rather lack of energy from not eating well. her stools also were small and/or runny.
she looks like she is struggling and in pain 🙁 we are giving painkillers and nutritional support, but i was wondering if there is anything else i can do? is there anyone who has buns that went through this well? appreciate any advice!
