My brother recently took in a rabbit that someone he knew had found a few weeks ago and we are unsure about gender, age, etc and we aren’t extremely well versed in rabbit behavior. Can anyone identify what breed she is? (the person who rescued her told us it’s a she but we have no real confirmation of that). She has been provided with a large pen and constant access to Timothy hay, water, and a few toys. She’s been allowed to free roam when supervised and seems docile, curious and friendly. She sniffs around the house, occasionally standing on her hind legs, hops up onto the couch, and comes over to sniff us (all of which I assume is normal rabbit behavior), and has allowed us to pet her and seems content. The picture was after she was being pet for a few minutes and I assume that position means contentment. She has a vet appointment scheduled for Monday, and seems to be doing well in the meantime. Any input is appreciated.
