Our rabbit is a holland lop female and 8 months old. She was just spayed a week ago and I'm hoping this stops her from peeing everywhere. I really want her to be free roaming, but we have issues with her peeing in all the wrong places (like 1-3 times a day outside the litter box, and it stains our floor). I've tried giving her a smaller space, two litter boxes, different types of litter + boxes, and giving her treats when she does use the litter box. NOTHING helped. Our vet said that it may be learned behavior instead of hormones that make her pee everywhere? That made me nervous because I was hoping the spay would fix it.
How long after being spayed did your rabbit start to use their litter box more? Any other tips? We just bought a house and didn't realize her pee would stain the wood here 🙁 it didn't in our old apartment!
