Screaming Bunny Saved from Window Well! #babyanimals #cute #wildlife #babybunny #rescue #naturelover
Toads aren’t the only thing I find in our window wells…sometimes a bunny falls in and can’t get out because it is too deep for him to escape. This is a video of me rescuing the bunny and removing him from the window well. He stops screaming when he realizes I’m not going to eat him. I set him free as soon as this video stopped recording, but I did not get that part on film, unfortunately. If you liked this, see my other bunny videos! (Where they don’t scream, lol)
Now, to address the obvious: I’ve had some people in the comments tell me that I should not be handling the bunny because it is inconsiderate to the animal or because they only scream when they are in pain, and that I shouldn’t torture the bunny just to appear online. I recorded this before I even had (even even considered having) YouTube, so my intentions were not to get famous from it. My response is this: I was not not removing the bunny from its chosen home. If anything other than a toad or frog were to stay there, it would most likely die from lack of water, starvation, or heatstroke because it is not a suitable habitat for a mammal. I am fully aware that bunnies can easily have heart attacks, as I have witnessed it firsthand when my dog chased one and it died, uninjured from the dog itself but so scared that she just dropped dead. I also know that bunnies scream when they are scared or injured, but I can assure you that this bunny was only frightened, and not harmed in any way. It makes me very disappointed to see those comments because it’s clear I was holding the bunny very gently. There’s a similar viral video of a guy who saved a baby bunny from being eaten by his dogs, and he also picked up the bunny to place it somewhere safe and the bunny squeaked just as much, but the people in his comment section thanked him and praised him for saving the bunny. Tell me, world, what’s the difference?!? I can’t believe some would prefer the bunny to die slowly of hunger trapped in a window well as opposed to seeing it be picked up carefully and get released back on the grass so that they can run back to the woods where their parents and family are waiting for them, probably wondering where they’ve been for whatever the amount of time was that they were trapped in that window well. (See my video, “A Toad and a Bunny!”) To be frank, seeing those comments about me leaving it alone and letting it die is completely appalling. So please, leave a nice comment and respect that I know handling nature doesn’t always mean the animals will be happy with you, but it’s better than seeing them die if you stand by and do nothing. If you read this, thank you for taking the time to do so, I greatly appreciate it, and I do encourage you leave a nice comment if you feel like it. 💜🐇💜 Thank you for watching! (And reading; lol)

I set him free as soon as the video stopped recording. If I would have left him there, he would have died. To confirm, I was not removing the bunny from his chosen habitat. He fell into the window well, and I rescued him. If you would like to leave a comment about how I should not be handling the bunny, please read the description before you do so. If you want to say how cute he is, feel free. But if you would STILL like to make a "don't handle the bunny" comment after reading it, then that's your choice. But please read my full video description for the whole story, I would very much appreciate it if you did before jumping to conclusions and criticizing my actions.

Best not to touch wild animals especially rabbits
Its not safe to touch wild hares, they can carry many diseases on them, best wear gloves when handling them
Shouldn't torture the baby just to appear online

Rabbit: UWEE! UWEE! UWEE!
This is what a SCREAMING baby rabbit looks like.
I hate the sound so f*cking much. They scream cause they think they are gonna die. Its something rarely done by bunnies. Only when in face of death. STOP PROMOTING THIS SOUND AS CUTE!
Put him/her down. That could have a heart attack or jump loose and hurt themselves bad and they will also jump or jerk so hard it has been known to sever the spinal cord and or break the backbone. Let the baby down and let it go! It is scared for it Life & you just want clout! We all know what a Baby Bunny looks like and unfortunately we now know what one sound like when they are screaming for their life! I hope this Bunny made it free and uninjured, and the Bunny lives a Long Happy Healthy Life! 🐇 💕 🐰
