Please keep Mama Fern in your thoughts. She went in for annual wellness Saturday and when trying to get urine, the result was basically straight sediment. Rads showed this lots of buildup and I’m scared of a blockage if it’s not addressed. So, she will be going in for a sedated bladder flush Thursday and I trust my vet team fully but just so nervous about her being sedated. 😩 Also unsure how to encourage better hydration, feed low calcium greens, very limited pellets, and give urinary supplement per my vet so at a loss. Hoping not to have this issue again but her and her daughter both have had calcium deposit issues since I adopted them, thinking it may be genetic.
