Picture for attention of my babies, Benjamin is the boy on the left, Biscoff is the paler girl on the right. We have had Biscoff since she was a kid and she was never really vocal, she was paired with an older male (we didn't know his age for defo as he was adopted) and she wasn't spayed until after her old husbun passed away.
It was very quick from her old fella passing to getting Benji as I was worried she would get lonely after being paired for 2 years. We got him and both neutered and they first met after 6 weeks of being done and it's been a slow processes since but we are finally there.
The last 24 hours they have been living together no issues, what a stressful night it's been. But what I am asking is she never used to honk, but during bonding she started honking whilst being mounted and now she even honk when I scratch her butt. Has anyone else had this? He's very vocal and happy honks all the time, could she have just learnt it from him?
Other than this they seem happy with each other and are slowly setting in to married life.
