Pic is from when I initially adopted her.
I recently adopted Mallow (5 yrs old) the gray bunny on the right from a friend of mine who was moving. I wasn’t able to take her brother sadly but another mutual friend of ours was able to keep him.
When I got her I transitioned her from living in a hutch outdoors to free roaming in my appt. After about a month and a half I’ve felt like she finally got comfortable, but unfortunately it’s culminated in her running around my room like a rocket at 4am most nights. Ever since she’s started this she’ll run up to my sleeping face and use it as a launching pad at least once per night usually waking me up 😭. I live in a studio so locking her out isn’t an option. And she most active in the evenings/night anyway so I feel bad putting her in an enclosure for 8 hours when she’s most awake.
Any advice? Is this common? The situation is mildly ridiculous lol and the first few times it’s happened I was amused but now I’m just tired lol. Unfortunately I sleep on a short bed frame that she easily scales whenever she wants.
