He bangs at the acrylic walls of his play-pen until he's let out. Once let out, he loves to run & slip on laminate flooring, and if rugs are used to prevent him from slipping, then he digs on them & chews them at the same time, as if he wants them gone.
To prevent him from adventurously squeezing through the gap below the door of the play-pen when it's open, I had to keep a small pet bed there, because last time, he got stuck.
He used to only be active every other day, and that too, for an hour at most, but ever since his second dose of antibiotics to treat the ear infection he came with as an 8 week old bunny (courtesy of Roadie Roo Rabbits, Oroville, CA. I mean they must have pretty bad living conditions for reserved bunnies), he has been restless & all he wants to do is run around. He hasn't been sleeping well either & seems to be overstimulated. Could antibiotics have unobscured his real personality that was being obscured by his ear infection? His testicles dropped before he started taking antibiotics, so maybe it's not due to hormones but an alternative explanation is that hormonal changes came a bit later.
I bought two cams to monitor how often he scratches his ears & shakes his head, but I've mostly been getting alerts for such cute videos. BTW, the large dog bed outside is also his (he loves to dig on it although he couldn't destroy it as his nails were trimmed at an exotic vet's recently).
