I picked up Mars and Mercury on the 31st of October in hopes that I could bond them to my other two girls, Venus and Jupiter. Unfortunately Venus and Mars are two very dominant females who refused to submit to the other, and bonding attempts ended permanently when Mars and Mercury had a whirlwind of a fight with Venus (on top of a frozen Jupiter).
Mars is a four year old female lop who, after the first six scary weeks, has finally stopped biting my feet whenever I step into her pen. Turns out she’s a very lovely girl who will happily allow me to stroke her head for hours!
Mercury is an almost four year old nosey male mixed breed with the coolest fur I’ve ever seen! He looks grey but the roots are a lovely light brown. He’s also fond of head stroking, but I better not pick him up lest I want a few bite marks on my arm!
I’m very disappointed my two pairs don’t like each other, but they’re certainly a lovely treat to come home to! (Does four rabbits mean I’m officially a crazy rabbit lady?)
