I’m thinking king of building a new wooden litter box and hay rack unit to go around a new litter box. This would completely enclose the edges of the stainless litter box so he doesn’t kick the sharp edges as he goes in and out
Are there any other concerns with a stainless box? E.g., pine pellets rolling/sliding more and giving him less traction on the stainless surface than on plastic (as his current box is).
This is a photo of the last one I made him but it has two issues: he jumps up on top of the hay rack part of it and poops put into space, and he digs a lot of the litter (and poops) out of the box so I’m going to enclose 3 sides in the new design plus slope the top of the hay rack
