Hi everyone! It seems like my girls have warmed up to me and appreciate being near me. While Paimon is still a bit on the wilder side, only liking being touched occassionally, Pim seems to enjoy the cuddles.
I noticed that when I pick Pim up to put her on my lap, she is really calm and seems interested in her surroundings. She doesn't seem scared, rather curious (her ears are up and she moves a bit and sniffs around). I give her treats and she munches on them while being pet and on my lap still.
After a couple of minutes I put her back down and she runs into her pen. I sit down next to the pen and she flops in there. It looks like she's absolutely drained and needs to rest, so I am very confused if it's because she's possibly stressed? She doesn't stay like that for long, only 1-2 minutes and is back to her old self, munching on hay or something.
I can only sit on a chair when she is on my lap, so this is why I pick her up. When I am on the floor, I can't sit in a position where she can get onto my lap. I don't think she's a huge fan of being picked up, but she starts climbing up my leg when I sit in the chair, so I thought she wanted to be picked up.
I really don't want to stress her, so I am not sure if I understand her body language right. I love my buns and give them time and space if they need.
