My bunny (ten months old) was spayed a week ago. She used to be extremely affectionate, we had a routine where she would see when I woke up and jumped on my bed immediately, I fed her and we played. She is eating and pooping well, but she is a lot more stand off ish… On the day after her spay, she did jump on top of my bed (the doctor said that she could do anything that she used to be fine with) but since then, she's kinda just been accepting of my pets but not licking me or anything. (Her litter habits are already back to their normal state from when she was a baby)
Is this because she's uncomfortable still, or did she lose trust? (I had to give her painkillers and force feed her for a day because she wouldn't eat, and she really hated the syringe)
Any thoughts?
