Hey everybody! Hoping for a little advice. We've had Jupiter (a holland lop) since he was a couple months old, he's 3 next month, and we've never had this issue before. He's always been excellent with his litter box, and never peed anywhere he shouldn't.
Nearly 6 months ago now we got a very lovely cat, and they immediately took to each other. She's gentle and sweet with him, and for the most part he kept to himself. For whatever reason though, this past week or so, he's become obsessed with her. He follows her around everywhere he can get (doesn't like hardwood floors) and will even go so far as to walk under her while she's walking around. They've had lots of fun playing and he gives as good as he gets, but since this new development he's peed in what I assume is excitement several times. Usually when he's hopping around playing with her, and it sprays all over the place.
I have toddlers and really don't want to be worrying about bunny pee constantly, so I'd like to curb this behavior, but I'm not sure how. Any advice would be much appreciated. I know people also have mixed feelings about having cats and bunnies together but I'm really not here to talk about that. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm basically always with them, and they are fast friends, so I'd like to keep the conversation about the peeing issues please 🙂
