I pick him up once a day to clean his play pen but lately, he has been assuming that I only enter his play-pen to pick him up. When I do pick him up, it's after turning his 2 tunnels upside down, after which he runs into a Chewy box (which I move to one end of his play-pen to close all but one exits), and I implore him in a soft voice to let me pick him up. He gives up when he's cornered, but it seems predatory on my part.
His litter-training has stalled (he does pee in his litter tray, though, but poops everywhere), so his play-pen requires daily cleaning. Also, he spreads around hay.
