My two bunnies Fauna and June are 5 and 6 years old. One is a spayed female, the other is a neutered male. They live in a 35 square foot pen, and also get time to roam around the apartment.
When I first got them back in 2020, both were almost perfect about using the litter box. Starting about a year or 2 ago they slowly but surely have quit using the litter box. I don't mind poops, but it's really a big issue that they are peeing all over their pen. Luckily the pen is on washable rugs over linoleum, but it's still not a good situation.
Does anyone have any ideas about why the buns have lost their litter training, and how to get it back? When I first trained them I barely had to do anything, they almost just naturally started using the litter box, so I'm kinda stumped now.
