Day 2 with this 8 week old.
He was producing a lot of cecatropes & wasn't eating any of them. Since he wasn't already litter-trained, he had been pooping & peeing everywhere.
He was ignoring hay (had tried Oxbow Alfalfa, Oxbow Timothy, and Small Pet Select Timothy), so I removed pellets, since he's already had more than enough for the day.
He didn't eat directly from a hay feeder, so I used a bowl instead. He throws out most hay & I could be wrong, but he seems to be searching for the part of the hay he likes. But this way, he wouldn't get enough of it, no matter how much I put there.
He's almost litter-trained now, BTW.
