After losing her sweet, giant husband a little while ago, my remaining rabbit (the brown one) went on a bunch of dates, liking no one and giving me a bit of a headache, and finally & suddenly came home with a spicy little dwarf man. They were okay together in a neutral bonding pen from the start, but not being the dominant one has proven a bit frustrating for the little guy.
The first night together he was stomping around because she wouldn't immediately lick him, after which he gave up completely and sat sulking on the other side of the pen for 2 days. So today I put them together in a smaller section for a bit and now they're starting to warm up to each other (a little stomping included, because a dwarf is still a dwarf).
An hour or so after this I caught them hanging out and washing each other 🥰 they're doing their own thing now but I'm really glad this seems to be working out. My rabbit does not like people at all so she's been bored without a mate and I've been feeling bad for her, she's noticeably perked up now after she felt some rabbit love again.
