We found a rabbit a few weeks ago in our front yard. He has since been captured, named Bunbun, taken to the vet and moved inside into a large pen while potty training. The vet told us to give alfalfa hay for now as he is around 4 months old along with pellets and limited greens.
We have the hay always available and give limited amounts of pellets and so far butter lettuce and kale.
He had told me to keep feeding the alfalfa hay until he is a year old but I have seen differing opinions online.
Not that it really matters to me but does anyone know what breed he may be? I am wondering as to how big will he get.
Any friendly tips are welcome.
