My bunny lost his brother suddenly, Theodor (rip) was the social one of the pair specifically towards humans. After he died suddenly Edwin seemed so lonely so we got him a friend from the rescue, it went really well straight away, they groomed each other and flopped next to each other, when I let them out in the outside pen after a few days of bonding in a confined space they eventually zoomed and binky, I let them have a little bit more space inside and introduced toys and hideouts (all washed to get Edwin’s smell off) and it seemed as the easiest bonding, until last night, they suddenly started fighting, I separated them, put them in a cage together and went for a car ride, put them in a little pen with only a toilet but no matter what I do they fight at once if I’m not right by them, please help🙏
