He’s started to jump up on it and sit there, which causes several problems or risks:
He poops off of there into space and the poops collect behind it🤣
I’m worried he might slip off of it – I sanded it fairly smooth when I built it and it isn’t much larger than he is if he loafs
He might use the height to leap over the puppy fence fencing (he’s only in there at night and unsupervised then)
I’m wondering if something like aluminum foil might have a texture he doesn’t like. I’ve seen that used to discourage cats from jumping on counters.
I also built him a 2-story bunny condo and a day bed with hideaway underneath that are upholstered on top so he has traction, and while he jumps up on those too he isn’t pooping near them and he seems more content to just sit in them so I’m not worried about him slipping off or trying to jump out
