Bunny went through a neutering yesterday, came home in a cone as the vet told us he was messing with his wounds. At home we found one of his paws in the cone so we took it off, which bunny loved. But once we tried to put it back on him he panicked, ran into enclosures, kicked around and even flipped on his back! We kept the cone off and sat with him most of the night (up till around 4am) and using our hands to stop him whenever he bent down to lick or chew the wounds! We also had to keep an eye to see if he was just eating his cecotrobes. Of course there were a few times here we didn’t catch him in time. This morning his wound looks like this. Is this healing ok? Called vet, emailed photos and waiting for response. Is there anything I can put on there to help it heal so he won’t mess with it?
