Bunny

Bunny keeps peeing on me, help!!

I got Frankie Oct 23 so it's been exactly a month. He's currently 11 months old on the dot. He's such a sweet curious bunny, except for the fact that he keeps peeing everywhere. He also tries tasting me (used to be quite often, now I squeal so he knows that it hurts me and he does it less but still) I kept him mostly in an enclosure for about a month. He did have accidents but I thought it's because he's getting acclimated. He sprayed on some corners in that enclosure area. I experimented with letting him free roam and he was being so good (in the living room, his exclosure is in another room so I carries him to LR to roam and put him back) last night, I thought it was finally time to let him free roam completely, since I left him roaming to go shopping for 3 hours and he didn't have any pee accidents or destruction (a few poops but that's fine). Overnight seemed alright. Today I was working on my laptop and he came to sit next to me and peed right there!! Also heard him honk for the first time today. The more I looked around I realized he also peed on my rug (looked brown so it must be at least 3-4 days old) and perhaps on the couch another time as well. His neuter appt is in March (the exotic vet was super backed up). I'm unsure how I will survive until then. He seems much happier when free roaming, but I really can't deal with this peeing. Will neutering actually help? I already feel a bit guilty because the woman giving him away said he's super litter trained and neutering rabbits is unnecessary and inhumane. But after reading some Internet stories, does neutering actually help?
