Uh so I want my bun to be free roam but a have lots of nice furniture and don’t rlly feel like bunny proofing it so should I give it its own room or like should I get a big play pen she can stretch out in? Hope this 2022 starter pack is still good for 2024. Lol. We found 3 baby rabbits in our garden with no mother around. Waited for a while to see if mama comes back but didn't so we decided to adopt them and take care of them😊🐇🐇🐇
What i like to do is give bunny free roam of my bedroom (the room his pen is in) and then every hour or so ill let him get the zoomies out and exercize by letting him roam my upstairs hallway with my supervision
so having a rabbit is having a child 😅

It's possible to overdo pellets? My dwarf lived to 15 and always had a full bowl. Never had to worry about him overeating, but he was very energetic even in old age and pellets aren't nearly as exciting as treats like fruit & kale. I think only giving a strict amount of pellets encourages the rabbit to finish their bowl whereas having a full bowl means they don't have to worry about their food being gone and they'll eat until they're satiated, but not uncomfortable.
Soon to be a rabbit mum as my daughter is obsessed with them. She’s very gentle and loving and wants to go into animal welfare when she’s older. Just wanted to say how helpful this was to start our Rabbit adventures as I now feel reassured ❤

im sorry lorelei i trust you with everything but me and my vet can guarantee you that giving unlimited pellets to any rabbit, baby or not is not good at all!! mine would get obese in 2 days with how much pellets she eats 6:49
