Unpopular opinion: children shouldnt be allowed on planes below the age of 8. If you can't find another way to travel without being a public disturbance, don't fucking travel, or don't have kids.
I travel with both of my bunnies fairly often and they get so many pets when we do!
For the comments complaining that pets on flights can cause allergies: if you are severely allergic to animals/fur it is YOUR responsibility to inform the airline so you can be accommodated.
Do rabbits need any medication for flights? I was planning on getting a couple of rabbits after I graduate, and while I probably won’t fly anywhere for a while I was planning on moving to Japan further in the future.
or on the bus. i'd prefer to sit opposite to cat owner with cat in carrier, trying to claw me for attention. or a dog just sniffing and knowing i belong to hamster.
Those parents can go to hell for the way they teach those kids, I was flying back to the US when I had a child behind my seat. The kid refused to sit down and put on her seat belt after take off and I mom made barely the effort to control the kid. There was a few turbulence announcements and the mom tried to put the seat belt on the kid once. The kid stood up during the turbulence and smacked her head right on my chair, needless to say she cried and never stood up again. The sky had to intervene to teach a kid

i think it just depends on the pet, my late dog was a basset hound, and he barked and whined the whole plane ride when my parents flew somewhere
