“My bunny Dawn stole an apple from my friend’s toddler. Dawn is a very friendly Flemish Giant – Rex bunny. This occurred in my living room. Dawn loves apples and regularly tries to steal them from anyone who eats them. She is very gentle though and never bites or nibbles the person! And don’t worry – the baby got his (washed) apple back.”

    It really should be careful having that kind of food around a baby's hand with a rabbit they don't mean to bite their teeth can go right through you and they don't mean it so you can't get mad at him just giving his own Apple next time

    Fyi to any possibly new rabbit owners, that is WAY too much sugar for a bun. It will cause some pretty bad GI upset. Small slices of fruit are okay as an occasional treat, but should not be something they get with each "meal". (They should have 24/7 access to hay and get small "meals" of formulated pellets and fresh greens at least twice a day)
