Six baby bunnies were discovered at UVic on March 19, 2009. A crowd quickly formed to watch them, and signs were posted requesting that we not touch them. Although everybody did their best to keep their hands off, sometimes the bunnies cuddled up of their own accord.
These bunnies were old enough to be on their own. The nest was unfortunately placed out in the open, but they had a hole to run to, as well as lots of grass and apples from well-meaning students.
