I’ve had Buds now for 3 years, and she’s the sweetest thing in the world. She’s the holland lop.
We realized a year later that she was lonely and could use a friend after being advised that rabbits love companionship. So, we adopted Sir Kiwi, a lion’s mane. We even took Buds to the rescue to make sure they got along, and the rescue said it would get easier.
We followed their instructions to a T on how to bond them, and they just kept fighting and it never worked.
Now, they live cohesively next to each other, but I want them so bad to bond with each other so they can groom each other and just not be separated by a gate. They groom each other through the gate and always play next to each other (they have a 500 square foot room where they share a hay feeder and everything, Reddit wouldn’t let me add more than 1 photo).
Any advice or help would mean so much!
