Rabbit

Meet Fudge

Long story short, my husband found Fudge dumped at the side of the road in a dreadful state two weeks ago. Luckily he was cycling and not in a car as she was drinking from a puddle in the middle of the road.

I naively thought she had escaped and got lost, but the vet said she was likely neglected and dumped as she was severely underweight.

Two weeks on and she is a different rabbit. We have had house rabbits before, and know the drill, but she is really starting to come out of her shell. She is a climber and we have had to buy her some stairs to ensure she can get safely off the windowsill. She is such a joy, and has a very determined personality.

She is still a little underweight, and her eye fluff hasn’t quite grown back yet (she had a slight eye infection when we found her and was on antibiotics for a week), but she is thriving 🥰
