Hi everyone! My little bunny has a nice litter box that I fill with wood pellets from Tractor Supply! They've proven to be great. However, I feel that maybe I'm being inefficient with them. I spot clean his litter three times a day, once before work, once after, and once in the evening. I use gloves to pick up the poop to avoid wasting potentially clean pellets, and scoop the soiled spots. Whenever he's running low on litter, I do a light refill, and do a full empty and clean every 3 days. I'm noticing that despite my schedule, I'm still burning through a lot of litter. I think on the deep clean, I throw out a lot of clean litter. For reference, a 40 pound bag has lasted me for 20 days weeks and is at a quarter left. Am I doing the deep clean too frequently? Is this around how quickly it goes? Urine doesn't really reach the bottom as the pellets usually catch them.
Also, any advice for getting him neutered? Especially in the Miami area. Hoping that would help with behavior and marking!
