Sleepy Baby Bunnies

Baby bunnies sleep A LOT, and these two 3-week-old Holland lop siblings are no exception. Watch them doze off curled up in little fluffy balls next to each other. Don’t worry, they are fully capable of climbing out of these containers – they simply are completely content and are so tired after their play session. 🙂
To answer a question, siblings often have ears that lop at different times, and some never fully lop and have “airplane ears” due to a tight crown. False dwarf Hollands (no dwarf gene) tend to have longer ears that lop sooner while true dwarf Hollands (one dwarf gene) are usually shorter and stubbier all around and can be slow to lop. My favorites are the ones with short, fat ears that are slow to lop. 🙂
