Rescue dumped bun update 3

We're about 2.5 weeks into life together with little Oschon Romaine. I've managed to get almost all of the mats out, with only a few small ones remaining on his hoppers that we'll be working on in upcoming days. His fur is growing back in on his flanks where he had seemingly gotten into something sticky while living feral for a month+. He has been an absolute champion for grooming, from regular combing to teasing out mats to nail trims. Additionally he has a hearty appetite and loves his pellets, hay, romaine, and twice a week treat of a partial kale leaf. He is not a fan of red lettuce, and seems to like the orchard hay maybe a little less than timothy, but the timothy is for sure easier on my allergies.

He is learning to come to gently snapped fingers and is very good about using a litterbox even after I've expanded his pen to about 9×6'. He also seems to enjoy going out on a harness for supervised hops in the yard to forage (no pesticides used at my house). Today he found a small patch of clover and snacked on a few leaves. He is also really good about being picked up by placing a hand securely under his chest and then scooping up his booty.

So question for the bun keepers –
What other sorts of things should I be getting him acclimated to for life as a loved bun? TIA!
